I've been looking thru the modulationpossibities in modular and Flexor, and I can't seem to come up with a solution to make a mix-modulating patch that works like the one in the Vectron, without having the modulationsource outside the patch.

The "x/y Xfade&Control" almost does what I want it to do, but I can't modulation/control the two sliders from an lfo-source within the modular.

Is it just me not looking hard enough?

I've got a devilish patch on my mind.......

Won't the Quad Crossfade Module work for that. According to the Mod III reference manual, if you connect a cosine LFO and assign the sine wavewform to mod input 1 and the cosine waveform to mod input 2 you will get a circular motion at the rate of the LFO.

Not sure if this is what you meant, but hoe it helps

Yes - I think you are right. Man, I was so focused on that ball moving in Vectron that I didn't look deep enough into the technique behind - DOH!

Anyways - thanks for pointing the module out for me!

here's another solution

It looks kinda messy.. so it'll be easier just to use the quad Xfade. Same thing.

Hi Ken

Thanks for the effort - Your design might open up for some interesting variations of this kind of crossfading.

Thanks!

Yes...Ken makes it all look so easy.

I've been trying to get to grips with CW's
Modular system since Mod III upgrade, but particularly since investing in Adern's Flexor. So it's really awesome to have guys like yourselves onside to show us beginners what is possible with it.

Glad I could be of help though for this and I guess this means things are beginnning to make sense...a bit :

Look forward to the new patch petal, and good luck

watch out for my upcoming patch (maybe tomorrow). It contains a quad- and xfade module for that kind of sound shaping. Maybe it can be helpful for building your "devillish" patch.

Regards, Stefan
