Tonight (Nov 5th) in the UK is bonfire night when we celebrate Guy Fawkes trying to blow up the houses of parliament centuries ago (sadly, he failed).
Imagine the bit of Europe that is no longer attached to the UK (Germany, France and all the others  ) and how loud fireworks are on New Years Eve.
Now double the volume.
Now try mixing a track at the same time.
It's like being a composer in Bagdhad
I give up for the night.

Worse - behind our house the neighbour insists on having a 20m high conifer hedge and not a single damn firework has set fire to it!!!!! Never mind, the law has now changed and that hedge is going.
Anyone got any leftover rockets??????

Worse - the fireworks have set off the burglar alarm in the house across the road - they're in Spain until Saturday.

Anyone got a room for the night?
