Hi,

All the xtc effects (delay , reverb, etc etc ) when I use them on a cubase sx channel (xtc mode) (insert or send) they reproduce the signal as it would be at different sampling rate (like bitcrushed)
anyway sounds terrible.
changing setting of the asio driver has no effect..
and more strange.. all the xtc instruments
they work great.. excellent quality and no delays.

(my system include a a16 ultra connected via optical adat to the scope.)
and I'm recording all my audio at 24 bit

does anybody have an idea ?

does anybody have experienced that ?

I'm lost in space.

Try updating your VST plugins list in Cubase.

When exactly does it sound bitcrushed? Is it after a track/snog bounce or export? Because if it is, you'll have to read the manual again. You have to bouce/export a bit differently when using XTC.

HI,

What I did was actually to record a new audio track directly from cubase
The track sounds great but if i put a xtc delay on it the resulting signal (if the fx is inserted on the channel) sounds bitcrushed, all of the xtc fx they sound bitcrushed...

but the instruments they sound and record fine..

Maybe there is something I did wrong in the project ?

because all the settings (asio, scope and cubase are the same : 44.1 , 24 bit asio.)

for sure is a small thing because it only affects the effects and not other things like recording or playback of a flat track, that means that is also not a problem of a/d conversion (if somebody may think is related to the a16 ultra)

new challenge ?

maybe not
