Hi there,
I have a new Midi-Interface now (Midiman 4x4). Is it possible to use the CW-Synths with the new midi drivers in Cubase SX? It didn´t work, when I tried. Maybe something wrong in my project? But I get the feeling that it only will work with using something like Hubi´s or Midi-Yoke. Can it bee?
I´m not using XTC-mode, and I must admit I don´t know anything about it. The reason is, I have no Studio-package or whatever and us very seldom CW-Synths. Hust a matter of money. But I like to use some of that freeware-CW-Synths!
Thanks for help!

Hi cemhot,
I bought the same interface a few days ago. It works better than my old one (a Portman 2x4), but the outputs seem to be changed. However, it works.
I have Cubase VST 5.1, and I can play all CW instruments with it.
In Cubase, take the "Pulsar" output (or "Luna or whatever). Switch to the Scope GUI. Connect the "Sequencer source" MIDI out with the synth you want. It should work. Be sure that the channels match.
It's not necessary to connect the hardware MIDI out of the 4x4 with the MIDI in of Pulsar if you use Cubase when you want to play your synth.
Have fun, Thomas
