Hi,
on my new PC I have little klicks. I installed the new driver and the old software (2.5), to avoid the performance problems of Scope 3.1. Sometimes I have little grafik-Probs, but not to bad (the browser is sometimes black, if you move it).
The other thing is, that my card has IRQ 20. I don´t know, if Luna-Card can handle it.
I have Asus P4P800 deluxe. Bios is set to no plug and play (Bios handles IRQ). And the normal ACPI (not the extended thing. "PIC" I think).
Because this is my new system, I´m not sure where to search first, so I´d like to ask you first about the IRQ-sharing-thing and the new driver/old software.
I use Cubase SX. The klicks are more often there, when the window scrolls to the next view, but noz always.
Any experiences?
Thanks a lot!

I'd strongly suggest you cleanly reinstall SFP3.1C completely, including the app, not the drivers alone.

The graphic problem you talk about are in SFP 3.01, which is already old. There is no such graphics problem in 3.1c

And beside, the old Luna2.5 software suck badly compared to the newer generation SFP.

Do Luna users still have to pay for the sfp3.1c upgrade?

Anyway, if the luna is showing up as irq20 then acpi is on and windows is handling the irq assignment.

You could try re-installing windows as "standard pc". But that still may not solve the problem.

Try a search in these forums on "standard pc".

Hi folks,
thanks for your help. I ended up with installing 3.1c, beacause I also got weired messages like: "Don´t mess around with your keyfiles", "and register again".
To avoid problems in the future I wanted to have a IRQ just for the Luna. So tried some slots, not to reinstall windows. Now the card is in the last slot. Is it O.K. nowadays? I mean the card has now it´s own IRQ 21. In the past the problems was that these last slots shared their IRQ, I think.
I don´t remember quite right. Does it matter if the card gets a "real" IRQ (like 1-15) or that kind of new, like mine has now?
BTW I had very bad problems with deinstalling/installing Luna. I had to do that several times and erase files manually.
Hope it works now;)

If everything appears to be working ok then leave it as is. If you still have problems then try doing a search on "optimisation" on this forum. There is plenty of info already here on which slot to try and whether to use ACPI or Standard PC setup etc.
