XTC accelerator mode

When I start Cubase SX 1.06 I get the following message 'Luna cannot be used in XTC accelerator mode.' The Creamware site says to use the ASIO Scope driver to cure the problem but I'm already using the ASIO Scope driver in Cubase. I have two cards, a Pulsar XTC and a Luna 2. Any clues

when it happened with me I found there was some wrong *dll's installed in the xtc folder of VST plugins and the folder where the same name *dev's should be in SFP:
1 SFP/devicesXTC/effects/mono & stereo folders
2 SFP/devicesXTC/samplers (volkz...)
3 SFP/devices/Synths

particulary noticeable with few supposed xtc working free devices whose I never could get functions other way than as inserts in Multi FX (in xtc mode, obviously)
