Hi people,
I have a problem with my CW Powersampler card. My system is WinXP Pro, Asus CUSL2-C board with 512 ram and PIII 800.

The Scope drivers install without a hitch, but when I want to install the SFP 3.1c drivers (or Luna, or whatever) I get the infamous "Hardware version 30 detected" message, and the program won't install.

I read some other threads on this forum about similar problems, and I tried some of the solutions like switching PCI slots, updating drivers or even re-installing windows but none had helped.

The creamware official forums are no help at all, it seems like they only care about their newest products and don't care about supporting the previous ones.

Please help.
Thanks in advance.

Make sure you select the correct configuration when installing SFP (Powersampler should be one of the options). You should also not use the first PCI slot, but if all this fails you might try contacting CW customer support. Those guys will get you sorted quickly.

Good luck.

I can't even get to the point where I'm upposed to choose my card, the error message appears right after I click on "setup".
I also tried switching PCI slots, but no use.
And CW support seem to be busy supporting their new products, as I never get a reply from them.
But thanks for replying

Do you see the card in the Device Manager? If so, did you choose the Win 2000/XP driver?

Problem solved.
I switched from ACPI to Standard PC, and everything's fine.
