Hi
No matter what I do I can't seem to route the audio from my Audiophile card to an SFP project without connecting the hardware outs to the ins.
I have tried all the relevant modules but still get no signal. Please help!

Thanks

There are (or at least were) "Sound Card Dest" and "Sound Card Source" modules that you could use for this, but, to be honest, they never really worked well enough to be usable. What is it that you want out of the Audiophile.

I tried to do this with a Yamaha DS2416 (DSP Factory) card, but gave up after several weeks of fiddling. The only way I could get it to work reasonably was by connecting the SPDIFs together between the Yamaha and my Luna 2.

Cheers,
Will

yep, its just too much hassle to be worthwhile... the latency will be terrible.

what is it that you want the audiophile for that SFP and its various types of drivers (Wav/ASIO etc) can't do?

peace

Hi guys thanks for the replies.

I use Cubase SX and despite having a Power Pulsar, a Pulsar II and an Audiophile card installed Cubase only seems to recognise the Audiophile - this is the only option given under 'VST outputs'.

I have connected the S/PDIF outputs/inputs together and this gives perfectly acceptable results, but it just seems a shame this can't be done in software without the problems you mentioned.

Ah well never mind!

Just choose the Asio SCOPE driver in driver config... Instead of Audiophile....

You'll get 64 asio channel IO in 32bit float using cw drivers, instead of audiophile's

there are lots of folks using sx successfully.if the scope drivers don't show up,you need to reinstall.the proper order is sx,then sfp,HOWEVER FIRST you must install the cw DRIVER ONLY.

so the order is:

1.cw driver
2.sx
3.sfp

it'll work.
