On board (MB)sound + Pulsar in XTC MODE

Hi all
I bought a p4P 800 deluxe with a good soundchip on board. Can I use the internal mb chip for Audio and midi , and the Pulsar 1
in XTC mode for VST ' s. ?

on-board sound is never good. At least not when compared to a professional card like the pulsar and it's certainly not recommended using it.
I never use XTC myself but shouldn't you still be able to use Pulsar for audio and midi in XTC mode? Anyone else care to clarify on this?

If you have other needs than triggering SFP synths as VSTi's, then you really ought to be using SFP mode rather than XTC mode.

Forget using the onboard audio at the same time, sync will be all over the place, and the quality will be nothing compared to Pulsar.
