It is still amusing to see how you react.
You almost explode from aggression :D

But you are still the coward of the 'off topic'.
Your atheist colleagues like Hitchens and Flew have the courage to step out into public and avow.
You just spam your irrational hate grounded on nonsense arguments in a music gear forum. Respect.
A long way to go for you.
You cannot speak without insults can you? Have you learn it attending the church like your fundamentalist friend Neil?

Did you actually read what I wrote Bingo? If you did, the answer to your question is there, although there is ZERO proof as it was just a guess on a subject which I am no expert, just like yourself.

Watch Zeitgeist ... or don't. It's up to you.
I read what you wrote and understood it.
I think you used the english language, you know, verbs, nouns, adjectives...
Do you understand me? Do you need to interpret what I say? Do I need to make a video for you?

the moses thing is where he sees his fellow humans enslaved and abused and he kills the taskmaster to save those abused slaves. good work Mo!

i guess bingo would just give the slaves an iced tea when the boss decided he was tired of beating them.

there ARE questionable passages in the bible, but that isn't one of them!

[quote=Obviously you need to learn manners too, and those not from the depraved priests.[/quote]

Ah, you took the bait.

1. I said I was a "work in progress"
2. You're quite happy to dish it out but not take it back eh? Sign of a true cretin

What makes YOU so right that you can pour out this pigswill at Christians and expect them to cower up a corner.
I am NOT a pigging doormat and if you want to mention manners, you would do well to review waht you have written over the last 38 pages of this topic.

Jesus didn't tolerate fools.
Jesus didn't get walked on
Jesus called a fool a fool and a spade a spade

And so will I.

But I'm not getting worked up about it. I'm simply enjoying, like many others, watching you and Ivonta Braincell dig a bigger and deeper hole for yourselves ever time you reply.

BTW - didn't quite get the bit about deparaved priests, but if you're on about all this abuse stuff, I'm fully behind you - in fact I'll go ahead of you and place the first kick in the genitals of the offenders. You're back to talking about religion and not faith.

Believing in that shit is trully idiotic. The proof is mentalities like yours and startdusts'. You don't argue, you insult and bully. Go ahead, do what you were indoctrinated to do. It's good for your "souls"....
And remember, insults are not proof of the existence of god, but of the existence of your bigotry.

What exactly do you feel is an insult to someone who bursts from paranoid hate ?
You must help me to understand what you mean with insult.

I thank you for clearly confirming with every new post how much you ignore the rules and the purpose of the forum.
And with every new post that contains no substance to justify the 'subject' of your 'off topic' spam you confirm your lack of communication capabilities that you would need for your crusade.
I am impressed. ;)
Do you really believe you convince by telling everyone that only you own the truth , although meanwhile everyone that can read knows what kind you are of ?
I don't think you have the capability to judge my posts. Your fundamentalism is your enemy.

Sorry to go off-topic Stardust, but I've been almost deaf for the past 2 weeks due to an argument with a power shower (don't ask - it's a long story)
Must say, it gave me a lot of respect for Beethoven. He carried on composing while I had to mess about with this topic (and a bit of decorating)

Not sure why you've renamed Bingo "Big Bang"
Just to say that the big bang theory works for me - as long as God lit the fuse.
After all, if everything is still expanding, it'll have to start reversing at some point and that is written down in the book of Revelation.

I have the feeling this is one of the rare occasions where I would like to "expect the spanish inquisition" :D

sorry, bingo, although this (the existance or non-existance of god) is an interesting question in general, I'm afraid you won't pursuade anyone to give up his faith while reading these 38 pages. not that I expext hordes of baptize-willing scopers in front of church doors, convinced by our christians here :).

but you all could do us a favour and let other people believe what they want to. fighting against each other, be it with words or weapons, won't make the world a better place for anyone of us. if we remember that, a bit of god is in everyone of us.
you decide to let him in or not.

peace.

-greetings, markus-

" let other people believe what they want to" is exactly what Christians are *not* doing. No other faith has as it's primary goal the conversion and brainwashing of every human being on this planet as it's ultimate goal.

I don't care what you believe.
I just asked simple, plain questions and you answered consistently united in mockery. The 38 pages are only a proof your bigotry and immaturity.

stardust wrote:Hi Neil,

our clown has so incomprehensibly wrong referred to Big Bang theory that I like to bestow him that honory title. ;)

It reminds me that in this world there are scientific cretins, that lack of modesty when they abuse the hard work of serious scientist for their third-class doctrines, without even understanding the basics.

But you are right, maybe that is even too much honor for disrespectful spammers.
I dont know.

cheers stardust

Hmm (and gently now), I seem to remember pages ago that you had a downer on door-to-door evangelism etc, and I can see where you are going with this.
But allow me to present my view please:

Anyone, who has a passion about something that enhances their life, will normally want to share it. Perhaps a couple of examples:

1. My father loves his golf. He wanted me to take it up, such was his love of it. I declined as life was too busy anyway to commit myself to it.

2. If someone asked you if they should purchase a Soundblaster card or a full Scope system, Flexor et al, I am sure that, becuse of the pleasure you have had from it, you would want to onvince this person that a Scope card was the way to go.

3. My neighbours son loves Drum & Bass and he is always trying to say that it is the best. He points out to me many of the finer points from the genre.

Now, I don't agree that Christianity is the only "religion" or faith that has a doctrine of converting everyone - I will disregard the word "brainwash" from your quote.
I would suggest that every faith or religion and every one who has a true faith, would want to share, and I emphasise the word "share" that belief with others.
Think about it - if every one who has a faith believes that they are correct, then their remit, or their own desire would be to share that hope with their friends and colleagues. That is not to say that it is correct to force it down someone's throat. I disagree with that completely, but in the same way that I would tell someone how great a Scope setup is, I would want to lovingly do the same re my faith.

If people do not want to listen, or do not even want to ask me about my faith, then that is their choice.

I'm sure that you'll agree that is a polite and logical response, with other examples.

I think what is getting everyones back up here (bearing in mind that I think I'm the only Christian here as far as I know), is that you are trying to force your opinions, views and beliefs down our throats in the way you hate it done to you.

I could go on and on, but it won't make a scrap of difference I'm sure.

Kylie, I agree with your view too, that we just go around and around in circles on this topic once or twice a year.

Now, having been nice and polite, perhaps you would reciprocate with your views in a similarly polite manner -
In other words, let your mouth, not you backside have a chance to speak

Neil Neil Neil...

I just used some bills to buy some things and printed on it was "In God We Trust"

Now just imagine that atheists take over and we change it to "There Is No God"...

That would be such a beautiful day!

Dear clown, here you can reread your nonsense about the Big Bang.
As a hint to you: Big Bang theory describes not the creation of the universe but the expansion of it. ;)

As I said before you have to learn a lot: cosmology, modesty, logic, manners.
That is true, (and forgive me for being brief I didn't know you'd be interested to learn anything about the Universe in addition to what you learned in the church) however in the initial state, superdense ball of particles, there was no resemblance of the Universe as we know it today, and what is being refered to in the bible. I hope you don't want to say that god created the superdense ball of particles now? That would be quite cowardly from your side.
