Info from NAMM regarding XITE, Scope 5 and Solaris

Can anyone tell me if Scope 5 for OSX also works with existing PCI cards?

Also what options are planned for XTDM? I was hoping for a version with at least 8 ADAT i/o giving 64 i/o (wishful thinking I guess)

Great video indeed and it is great to see both hardware and software "alive".... I think XTDM is confusing. Nothing to do with STDM cables right ? Any idea ?

It's fairly obvious XTDM allows for the combining of at least 2 Xite-1 boxes. Hopefully more.
It's nice to finally see the real thing instead of the usual 3D-rendered images so common in the music hardware industry.

yes, the older cards and XITE both use Scope5.

Too bad I'll never be able to afford it unless they introduce a cut-down version at some point.

afaik, this is correct.

I believe Holger mentioned networkability as well as being able to have separate environments running concurrently. (will have to go back through my notes).

Status on Xite with the Mac OSX ???

It's apparently planned - according to 'the Gentlemen' at the booth.

Perhaps even slightly higher priority than 64-bit.

I presume these developments will start revealing themselves as Music Messe approaches in April, and obviously throughout this year.

In the meantime, maybe someone could test it in bootcamp.(?)

Not everything works as expected in bootcamp - usb to serial coverters doesn't work in bootcamp

You mean you can run two project windows using different hardware? Perhaps then you can run an XTC and a SFP project at the same time.
