In Xite its not using more dsp than any other mixers.
We just found out that we could use much more dsp skipping two small mixers,
and load one STM 4896.
We found out that their free mixer cw Mix 16-16 is very good,
but in PCI that has a totally different dsp system we could load 6 STM 4896,
before reaching the dsp it takes , but as you can see we use their Fat Inserts a lot.
We can do bleedover but thats mainly possitive feedback,
and thats really difficult in analog gear that we have builded,
and we find RMX 160 very good ,
and we think negative feedback is so effective
so we only amplifie reverbs with negative feedback.
Thats where we are now using the RMX 160 Snare Top and bottom presets.
We prefere to have also the Master PRO Verb on the final mixdown.
On 100% of course ,but it has to be cut in the bass for drums the way we use it,
because of drums.
Therefore extra reverbs and drum plate , whatever also.
That can most reverbs do with presets,
but is there a Spacef reverb also that you want me to try.
We use three reverbs now so tell me

Here we putted in the RMX 160, RVerb on drums ,and Master Pro Verb on the whole mix.
We also have three heavy guitars on this song, with a lot of distortion.
Voice is now being recorded on this one.
We are a Band.

If I may - no amount of reverb will fix that drummer.

I sense a cyclic theme here. a feedback cycle of its own.

It's hard to judge the mix itself, because I think there is a problem with the arrangement.

The drums and bass seem to fit well together.

But it's the upper parts that seem a bit jumbled, as the two guitars and organ seem to play across each other. If only two were playing at a time rather than all three at once, this could improve things

EG one guitar + organ, then alternate with two guitars no organ, or even only one melodic instrument in sections.

Another trick would be to get two of the instruments playing in unison sometimes, rather than seperate improvs.

Or even in the intro, a lead guitar duplicating the bass riff, but one octave above. This is always a good trick.

Actually, most of the spacer mixers were made with PCI develment board, but with the xite in mind. But anyway, back to your mix.....

Dante listen to the reverb on the drums.
That is whats important and what the thread is about.
The Organ is not fitting in now when having three guitars.
it needs play less ornaments

Current mix doesn't distinguish what we're listening for (reverb on drums).
