As kids who grew up without, me and my buddies would blow up intertubes from Tractor tires and take guns & coolers of food + ice for the monthly " Poor Man's Float Trip."
It would start upstream on the Meramec River and we would float downstream to Valley Park and have one of our parents pick us up.
We would float right through Times Beach where 1000's of 55 gallon barrells of Dioxin were buried. It was the only area of the river where Water Mocassins didn't swim out after us.
They tend to have their nests on the banks during the flood season, hence the guns.
We often were paranoid of the movie Deliverance and the place was full of hicks too, but we were prepared.
100's of people got cancer and other nasty diseases and died due to that burial ground, but the entire area was demolished and now it's a park or something that no one ever visits unless a relative was buried there or died there.
They don't talk about it much but it's true these multi national corporations are the Government and cannot be held respensible for anything one of their " subsiduraries " do.
In other words as our great Preident would say............

My mistake. I learned about it from a short documentary a while back & mistakenly said Bay of St.Louis instead of Bay St.Louis. The documentary was about the DeLisle plant releasing large amounts of dioxin and heavy metals & the widespread sicknesses in the area. Something like a couple of thousand law suits have been filed against the company due to the pollution.

The Sierra club is a noble cause and I use to donate money and have even played at some of it's functions, and yes we were asked to perform for much less than we normally did as it would give more money for the cause............yeah right.
The organizations President has embezzled money and had a a Big Log Cabin house built for himself in the Sierra Nevada Mountains using Banned Redwood Logs, etc.
It seems at the end of the day most humans just lose their morals when large sums of money are involved. Thousands of years of greed cannot be bred out of our system.

Du Pont were French nobility from Burgundy in the early 18th century, but they've lived in the United states for over 200 years. Over the generations they've made it their business to often marry within their own family & have very large numbers of children (8 to 11 kids being common offspring from a marriage between 2 Du Ponts). Nice family. Nice family business. The history of the business is dark to say the least.

There was a Rothschild lady, I am not sure of her first name, but it did sound semi-elite.
She was from Chicago and heads some womans group or something, but dude for a 50 something gal she was fine. She loved our singer and paid for our entire band to eat and drink at Lewelynns which is a 5 star place.
Shelley was saying to be conservative as she might help the group since she was such a V.I.P. and naturually I always do the opposite of what's asked. I had Chateaubriande and and 3 bottles of Dom P.
I feasted like there was no tomorrow becuase I knew she was loaded.
I always take extreme pleasure with comps, and have learned from the pros how to let people be big shots with their money.
I especially like talking w/ an empty glass conveniently held at eye level just so there's no misunderstanding...

No smelly bikers, no gunshot victims, no fights....nice to be home with XITE-1.
I have gone 2 weeks w/o any trim though.........
I am looking for a chick to grow my food now, or at least shop at Sunflower market or Wild Oats.
Everybody needs a fresh start.
In all honesty GaryB actually practices what he preaches about food.....no lie.
When he comes to Vegas I always make sure he doesn't have to leave the room so I give him some Hummice and Grain Bread w/ Green Tea, and the old lady gets a bucket of iced up chicky beers...
