Stop "Ferkin the Merkin" ?

I'm lurk'n with my Merkin.
I'd use a Gherkin - if it was work'n

I see you smirk'n - 'bout my Merkin
That's why I'm lurk'n - instead of work'n

Cochise, you've shrunk a lot since the last photo of yourself you showed us

hehe, I think I should change the title of this thread to "Please hijack this thread II"
I've REALLY been fu*in "shrunk" too much, my friend.
I'm no longer living outside my bedroom-studio since a couple of months, so I'm more saturated than a tube with cranked drive.

I know of one person.... several creamware cards, a completed released album with distribution in Europe.... who doesn't log in to Z. He just searches when he needs help.

Says he's just too busy with his wife, child, job, music etc and that he's always found what he's looking for using "search". What an odd person!

To be buzy is not to be odd, I think, I don't know.

It's funny, maybe odd, but I've noticed the count go up since I started this thread

Could it be the nick of new users appearing for a while on the top of the general Planet Z page contains subliminal messages for any or another one?

No, I'm talking about new users (first post) who are taking the pi*s, who are infiltrating or conducting some sort of espionage, literally. By that, I mean people pointing out faults that either don't exist or are easily fixed with a quick browse thru the forum. People pointing out faults in a fashion which I find (it's a feeling) unrealistic for most genuin help seekers. They come in, first post, looking for help with a list of problems as long as your arm, not enough relevant information, yet profess to know_it_all. All the sensible guys here are perfectly aware that none of us know it all & are all still learning in one form or another etc etc.

Look, it's just a feeling

Theoretically it's impossible to stop the problem of people just posting to wind us up, for a laugh or whatever, so we have to live with it. Although, I genuinly thought some more of you might have noticed 'strange' threads by first time posters on a regular basis as I have. If not, then I may well be mistaken

There's a new one in problem solving right now. I'll let you guys sort it out or help him or whatever you want, but I'm sure he's not on the level & I've got neither the time or inclination to help spammers, so over to you.

& there was another .. ranting about XTC this time, asking for help, but had already made up his mind. Sheesh kebab. Are we all blind? Does nobody else see this as an issue? Are you happy to answer questions & try to help people who are just extracting the michael & trying to make it look like the platform has many more problems than it ACTUALLY DOES ???

I really wouldn't care much, but your 'SPAM' marks to absolutely justified questions are way over the top

why don't you just switch over to politics ?
you could propagate the we and us all day long...
or make your own forum...

my sentence would be 1 year of listening to the Spice Girls Wannabe

btw I've seen 'that' post recently BEFORE you amended it - you could have spared the effort as I'm completely immune to slime

forget it, Tom

Spam marks removed astro, as they were yet another stupid mistake on my part, just like 'that' post you mention which I ammended recently when my better nature kicked in after a 10 second calm down. Unfortunately not everyone lives a forgive & forget style life. Grudges get held, mistakes often never lived down. Ce la vie.

I'll get back to being a wannabe spice girl if it keeps you happy

you're not gonna change your nick once again to poshroomz, do you ?

it's not my part to judge over it, but I find your behaviour extremely strange.
You're obviously able to think as your excuse and the answer regarding wayne's post show.

The problem with your frequent excuses is that the notorious up-and-down rythm makes you un-trustable.
Yes, there are things that are not forgiven - everyone who had the opprtunity to spoil a 'first date' with a girl knows that...

As you should be aware for a long time that this isn't a 'bitching and batting' forum.
It's not even one where posters with a high contribution count 'rule' anything.

It's a kind of common sense that works more or less on a self regulating base - if a directive is expressed by anyone then it's usually THAT common sense that drives it, not a personal motivation - at least that's my impression.

I don't consider myself anything special - there's always a ton of stuff I can learn from posts by GaryB, Valis and Symbiote (to name the most technical ones).
But even more I like to read the various trans global viewpoints from Oz/MiddleEarth (ex-New Zealand) to Chile with the US, Europe and Asia in between, with some members (like KenSuguro) even moving between the cultures.

An invaluable source of impressions and a rare constellation that works even on 'hot' political topics, which would raise nothing but flamewars elsewhere.
Different people require the acceptance of difference as a property.

Some of the contributions I appreciate most are by Braincell - because I can almost rely on the fact that his opinion is 180 degrees opposed to my own
that's food for thought and mind-opening

If you consider me a smart a** in the sarcastic sense, then I have not the slightest problem with your opinion - if it's honest.
But (in that case) I'd expect you can take back on the same sarcasm with style - and don't bail out in either vulgary or whining

cheers, tom

Cheers Stardust

Astro, you're just showing your own political agenda with regards to myself & showing that you do indeed 'bat' & ''bitch' even though you pointed out that that's not what PlanetZ is about !! Hypocritically contradictory.

now you've really lost me, forever.
You don't understand nothing of personal relationship, and I think you really need psychlogical help, sorry to nail you on that.
It's complete waiste of time to invest in you, you must have a big problem.
After all the stupid moves you made on Planetz, starting with covering Mister Bob Moog's identity up to insulting all the new Z-ers last week, accusing them of what you self did in an extreme way, you really f*cked it up now.
I'm ready with you, no chance I'll change my mind.

So we shouldn't be able to express ourselves in a rational manner, even when being made out to be the resident villain or something rediculous like that? Come on Hubird, that's just ludicrous. Since you bring up the Bob Moog fiasco ..yet again. Why not consider that I could have bailed out at that point. I didn't though, I stuck with the same account (only changing my nick after the late Bob passed away) I've stuck with it (foolishly perhaps) through all the 'ups & downs', riden the waves made by myself & multiplyed by others .. get over it dude.

BTW - is the "we" you use in other posts the royal one, or you & your colleagues?

edit - Also, i try to post here only on beer, never whisky
