"without deviation from teh norm progress is not possible" f.zappa
Algo, do you know how good the Dominion is compared to the CW SPL Transient designer?
I LOVE the Dominion, but I'm thinking about buying the SPL if there is a significant difference.
Welcom back btw!
you can't compare diferent tools. dominion is tube saturator - designer is dynamic efekt similar to commpresor but working on diferent way. this is unique tool and i wait for new price to buy.

Brain Waves theory:

Brainwave Generator is a program that creates these binaural waves. Looks interesting.

I´ve found this one, it needs win2000 at least. <a href="
http://www.msynth.com"> Msynth </a>
Synth, effects and sequencer, all in one.
Looks good but only standalone.
Maybe you give it a try?
Cheers

<a href="
http://www.greenoak.com/crystal/about.html"> Green Oak´s - Crystal </a>
This one is a real must have !
Crystal is a semimodular VST instrument for Mac or PC. It use subtractive and FM synthesis, but that is not enough to explain this synth.
3 OSC with 26 waveform presets, 10sec. 4 band delay with a spectral spliter. Osciloscopes for each OSC, 5 animated lfo´s with many presets, 6 nine point drawable modulation ENV´s, each OSC can have a 24db
lp-hp-bp-notch-ResLp filter, all come together in a huge 16port modulation matrix.
Program morph, copy and paste functions for everything, midi sync on lfos, delay, envs, and a good sorted 5page surface rounds up crystal.
From my view, all this features of crystal reach the features of absynth and beyond.
You can create many kind of sounds like huge pads, leads ,basses and all those standard.
But you can create sounds like WAVE SEQUENCES or GRANULAR things.
Crystal comes with a very good preset bank and you can download two additonal banks, too.
Decide yourself how crstal sounds and can !
Crystal is free!
This will be one of my favorite instruments for a long time.

Are you ready for another roll up?
Let me start with this:
<img src="
http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/images/cla ... jpg"></img>
This is a nice free collection of classic effects. They was made to emulate the vintage touch of the 70/80s.
The quality is superb and the whole bundle is free.
It contains a Chorus, Comp, EQ, Flanger, Limiter(!!), Phaser (for Richard

) and a Reverb.

So, what are your new plugs? Tell us...

Can anybody see those? I get a 404 page with:
"File Not Found
Sorry, the file you are looking for no longer exists on Databaseaudio..."
on it...
edit: people have already listed some of my fave freebie plugs, but I have recently discovered 'TubeFlute' and 'DubSub' (both by Wavelength IIRC) - very good! Istan Kalvor's 'Dirtbag' organ is nice and grungy (VST) and rgc audio's Triangle II synth is another. There's still a free version of SampleTank availabe too. Voxengo.com has a few freebies (including a very nice looking tempo delay device).

Thanks Andre and Thomas.
For guitar amp simulation I use the Warp but I´ll check out your suggestion.
The plugs from Ugo have a very good design and the audio sounds promising.
Also those Ugo synths have an internal sequencer!!
Thanks.
