Well, at least for the ULLI settings there is a fix (from CW database page):
Open cset.ini and copy the intlbk= ... under the [hw] item to under the [XTC-Config] item and set it to the desired value. Cubase will use this setting, although it will not be displayed correctly in the ULLI settings window. You can control that the correct settings are being used by updating the plugin info window in SX. For intlbk=64 (the lowest ULLI setting) the CW plugs will show 258 ms latency (and the system will become highly unstable ).

Not a good idea. When I started Cubase I got an error message saying that I should remove that line. After that SFP could not be started. So I guess I just have keep resetting it myself.
