There you are really completely missing the point. Gary is not in favor or against any kind, he’s saying something that is happening that’s all, it’s a description of a situation, there is no will on it. But, again, thinking in that way, leads to this kind of discussions and are not the real bottom line problem.

Afghanistan war is driven by NATO and includes soldiers from all over the world. Mostly US? yes, but commands are driven via NATO, which includes European interests.
