is the program the action or the action the program?

no, we can't. :lol:

true religion is experienced. it can't be quanitfied into language.

i don't have any problem using the words we have. i don't see problems with nailing down definitions, though. otherwise, how can we communicate(using words)?

Here in Nevada we have a different opinion...........
Why take any chances?
On a BlackJack table I pray to to several Gods to cover my bases.
Mohammed, Jesus, Buddah, Allah, Krishna, Zues and Oden.
Und Mein Klaviaturgott gets a little Hymn also.
One of them's bound to answer.

Often with such discussions you end up fighting about termonology/scementics (or whatever you call that stuff in english...)

I usually set some terms before I start a discussion about this.
God == Source
helps alot when talking with people who have very negative associations with religions or the word "God".

I think most people are so caught up in their opinions that they forget to think about what is really said, or what the other is really communicating. They just want to change the other person so they reflect their believes.

The biggest presumption of all is the belief that there is a god.

all beliefs and ideas are NOT of the same value, even if it makes one feel lovey dovey to say so.

a loon is still a loon, and it's diffcult to PROVE who the loon really is.

go ahead and argue, disagree, mock and insult each other, just don't get too serious or violent. there's nothing wrong with a little emotion. there's no reason to be trying to hurt anyone's body or feelings, though. meanness won't help.
