Hi everybody, thanks for your comments.
I have been asked a few things about the Wave 5 and the answer is useful to everybody.

- the wave 5 is a small device, which uses a n old module from DP based on akai S1000 format (you can still load s1000 *.s files through the file browser).
- As a consequence, and because I didn't write this module nor can I update it, it plays only 16 bit 44.1 Khz samples. 24 bit samples will not be accepted. Other samplerates may work at 16 bits, but will be slower or faster according to the base samplerate.
- Personally, I use the wave 5 for some instruments that I resampled from my EPS 16+ , a format that is not included in any sample bank converter (the one that say they have it, it does n't work at all, both because of XP and the EPS format. the wave themselves are not extracted properly, not to speak of all the edited parameters in the eps).
- Someone also noticed that under heavy dsp load, there can be some confusion as to the limits of the keygroups. This is possible. I haven't noticed that yet, but it is possible, and there is nothing I can do about it.
- there may be inconsistencies in the direct out with some effects, i will check that.

This device really serves the purpose of loading a very few 44.1 Khz samples in a SFP environment.

I could include looping, with infinite delays, but there is only unconveniences: you cannot set loop start without using quite a lot of atoms, and note off also requires a secondary dedicated algorythm/circuit. it takes unecessary dsp/memory for such a device and in comparison to what exist in the dsp or native world (unfortunately, i agree
So for all these features, wave5 will not be updated, and it is better to look toward more complete/serious software. the wave5 is a little help for those who do not have anything else and want to load wavefiles in SFP, not in audio tracks.

All these limitations are the reason why I released it for free.
This is also why I will not do any sampleplayer-ocillator satellite for Synthetic DX. samples will be sent to the synth through one of its audio inputs (or using other parties modules).
The wave 5 release version is exactly the same : it doesn't include any satellite slot nor extra modulation. It only has an additional insert slot at the output. You know, that's only a small bonus on the Black Box CD, it is not a crucial thing, i should/could have not included it in fact, but why,?? it's done, it works for what it is good at, so you get it  it's cool to make kits of drums and/or instruments and the presets work fine.

Have fun everyone.
