Sequencer midi trouble to pulsar/Prisma is wonky!

I have an issue. My cubase sx 2.2 project includes a midi track which I have routed out to Pulsar 1. The sequencer midi source module is route to the Prisma synth. All was well then suddenly the sound from the Prisma just went really muddy. As far as I can tell it is still in sync and it doesn't crackle, just mud. Now the odd thing is if I solo the track in cubase, it sounds fine again, but as soon as I unsolo, again mud. If I play the synth from my midi keyboard, it works fine.

Some how the sequencer midi info going to pulsar is getting demented. I don't think this is a Pulsar issue actually, likely cubase. I unloaded some plugins to bring down the cpu load but no difference. I have 2 pulsar 1 cards linked by the way, and a P3 750 comp with 512mb of ram. Yes I need to upgrade, but funds are short. Wish I had Pulsar 2.

Anyway, your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Strange? Its working again. All I did was solo the midi synth track, and start unmuting track by track hoping that one track for some reason was causing havoc. Surprisingly, it just worked. used it all night and no problems. cool I guess, but I hope it doesn't reoccur.
