When I press the start button on my computer, I can hear an 'electrical pulse' type noise coming through the speakers from the Pulsar. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Just a small sounds but it seems that the Pulsar outs are giving off current?
Do other people find this also?
Should this be something I look into?
Pulsar makes bad noise when starting up

It's always a good idea to turn speakers on last in every signal chain. Just about every audio device creates a surge during power-up and power-down, and computer power supplies can be quite bad at this. Amplifiers too -- many of them have overload protection circuits that kick in on startup and shutdown to protect your speakers from the surge.
Anyway if it's just at startup and shutdown, I personally wouldn't worry about it -- except that I would turn the amp / speakers off!
Cheers,
Johann

I think these pops can blow up your tweeters. They are short bursts of quite high power.
Hey, I installed b0rg's magma and p1 on this laptop and it doesn't crackle at all when I load the project, or load the Analog Dest. On my Scope system I get a big pop. Still trying to find out why some systems do and some do not pop.

it's an automatic habit by me to turn the master volume of my little mackie mixer down to a very low level
However the startup clicks seem to be cut off somehow, they are very short and are never extremely loud
Wasn't there a line about this click protection in the manual?
I could be completely wrong, may be it was my former RME card...
