Yes I got an email from them too. But without wanting to sound like Scrooge, their 'Special Offer' somehow doesn't seem so special at all.

Why on earth would I want to send back my old Pulsar I card which cost me GBP650 when I bought it, in return for an upgrade to a Pulsar II card and one of the Software packs when I can just buy the same card and Package for 50 pounds cheaper from one of CW dealers and still keep my old card. I recall that CW sent out a similar special offer a year or 2 ago. I just cannot work out why any of us long standing loyal customers would find this offer of any value at all. Creamware, please for goodness sake. You make such amazing products, why do you have to then spoil this by coming out with the most ludicrous marketing blunders.

On a side note, I expect I will be adding to my already reasonable setup of a Pulsar I & a Powerpulsar card by purchasing another Powerpulsar or at least a Pulsar II, but I definately will not be using this 'Special Offer'

I hope that hasn't sounded too harsh, but I think it needed to be said.

Regards

Then it needs to be said too, where you can find a new PulsarII for 599€ minus 50£.

really......for those in Europe or overseas you may want to tell them where they can find a Scope Project with (SnS or MnM) for that price.

Hmmm ... For those like me, who don't own the optimaster, the masterverb pro, vinco, the minimoog, the vectron etc. the offer #2 is a really good one.
I'll think seriously about that ...

Marcus

You transfer the plug-ins to your 'other' card (provided, you have one).

775 Euro Plus VAT if you are in Euro land. Still a mighty deal.

sell your creamware pulsar 1 on ebay and buy a pulsar 2 also via ebay.
it´s much cheaper.

the idea of creamware products is cool but their marketing strategies suck.
what we need is a usb device or firewirebox for our creamware cards.
then i would trade with them.

and magma is still too expensive.

Here is a x-mas upgrade I would like to see:

Scope SRB -> Scope Pro

I am sure if you take your SRB to your dealer for exchange with Scope Pro there shoud be no problem. Otherwise contact a dealer in North America as I am sure they will be willing to do the exchange.

Better upgrade idea:

that's it!
