Well the subject heading says it all. I love the new 8-in 8-out module, but how can I attach it to patches I've already made ? Some of them are scroll to almost two screens in size and I'd rather not rebuild them unless I have to.

Any ideas? I'm hoping I've just missed something really obvious.

i think the answer is "too bad" unfortunately.

it shouldn't take that long. keep the old one open for visual reference when you build the new one.
*and post the results*

Thanks anyway. I thought it might be a long shot but some optimistic spark held out for a quasi ctrl-X ctrl-V solution.....

Have you actually tried Ctrl C, etc.

The manual says this about modular shortcuts:
In the Modular:
Ctrl + C: Copies the selected module into
the clipboard
Ctrl + V: Pastes in a module that was
copied into the clipboard
Ctrl + D: Dublicates a module (a copy of
the selected module is pasted in with a
mouse click)

but I don't know whether this works between patches, or only in the one patch?

Let us know either way.

It works !
Ctrl-C on the module then switch to the new patch window and hit Ctrl V. You then get the little placement arrow - decie where you want the module and click.

Thanks for the tip

Well nothing's ever easy is it? I converted my favourite (huge) patch, rewired it all, even improved it a bit, but now I don't get any of the drop-down menu options (eg lfo effects, osc etc).

I've tried moving it all over the file structure but it makes no difference.

Funny thing is that every other Mod patch has all the menu options intact. I can't even replicate the error.

Any thoughts ?

Any even worse than that, I can save and load the presets, but they don;t have any effect: the sequencer modules are empty and the controls don't change.

I've put a new thread in the "problem solving" forum hoping for a clue to what's happening...
