I've searched various thread on this issue but can't find an exact match...

I've done a clean install of XP and sfp4 and everything has gone OK.

Trouble is now that I can't get SFP to start on Windows boot.

I've checked the msconfig file, but no SFP entry. Nor can I see how to add one.

Should I modify the cset.ini file somehow ?

All hints welcome :smile:

Isn't it the 'Active' checkbox on the 'Projects' tab of the Scope Settings dialog which causes SFP to start on re-boot (and load the startup project)?

That has no effect here :sad:

Also, when I start SFP I can't get any app to recognise the ASIO drivers even though I've remade the exact same project I had in 3.1c....

Wave drivers are fine.

Very odd. Could the ASIO problem be related to the "not starting on boot" issue ?

What about just adding a shortcut to the 'Startup' folder (if it's a Windows box)?

That should get it going! :smile:

Start->Programs->Startup

Brilliant ! Would never have thought of that - I kept staring at the msconfig tab panel :smile:

So now it boots with Windows.

But still no ASIO drivers.... :cry:
