upgrade to scope 4.0 makes system slow.

hi there ya'all.

because of having all this different problems, I thought maybe things go better if I install scope 4.0 instead of SFP 3.1 but the first thing is it starts up soooo slowww than afther I try to do a few thing it completely frooze .
I had to pull the plug. second time ver slow again.

I've build this new system with all new software, but the old one with via-chipset, windows2000, SFP 3.1 and cubase VST5. is more stable.

new system: Asus p4p800 (not the luxe)
cpu 3.0
ram 1.0GHz
hd 120gig sata WD
matrox P750
windowsXP pro
cubase sx 2.01
gigastudio 2.5(new to me to)

something is corrupt. if anything, 4.0 should be a little faster. i don't know where the problem is, it could be an irq or setup issue, but i suspect a bad install somewhere......
