Hello,
Do you know why in my system, the VRC 128 or the VRC-S, never shows the correct number of VDAT devices loaded in a project?

When I start and build a project everything runs ok. But an another session, after the project has been saved and SFP 4 restarted, the VRC's don't show the correct number of slaves VDAT.

Thank you.

This is a known problem (at least for me). VDAT appears to be very buggy, there is no cure unless creamware makes an update.
At some point you might notice that VRC (S/128)entirelly loses the connection to VDAT.
It's a shame..

hi Stige,

About that adjective, "very" when referring to the bugs in VDAT - I respectfully disagree. While VDAT does have some issues, none of them seem to interfere with the core function of the program, i.e. recording. Fortunately, VDAT does that particular task admirably.

Yea, except for heavy projects where VRC-128 automatically and randomly arms tracks during recording, erasing previous recorded material, it doesn't interfere w the program here either  Hope they can fix that, cos now I have to delete VRC-128 or backup when projects get heavier.

Yes, it's possible to make productions with VDAT, without too much interference of the bugs. Though, those white noise bursts are very nasty when loading a VDAT project and playback is activated by itself.
Anyway, I would highly appreciate a fix from Creamware, they must be aware of these problems.
If forgetting the bugs, VDAT is one of the best plugins for scope platform.
