Relating to the Scope driver in WIndows XP, is there a way to separately set the number of Input Devices from Output devices?
In windows 98 I was able to improve the performance by dropping the Input values ie. Input = 2 and Output = 8.
In windows XP the Input and Output values have to be the same ie. Input = 8 and Output = 8
I am using ASIO drivers with Logic v5.51, WIndows XP, Scope Home v4.0c

As far as ASIO is concerned I've always been able to use different i/o configurations with SFP (win2k & xp both). double click on your ASIO source module and set the i/o to whatever you wish...also make sure that you are using the proper source & destination pair.

those settings are for wav drivers only and they only determine how many windows expects to see. the actual number depends on what is in your routing window.
