Iv'e been away for some time now.
Work work work and lots of fun.
I have a really screwed problem for you to solve.
Since i got my first Pulsar2 board iv'e been using the big ol' Bluemixer.
Iv'e had problems with it before but nothing like this. It now seems...
When opening a project including the Bluemixer everything is working like a charm (as alway...mabye not as always...).
My problem has to to with when i want to name a channel strip. You see...i have no problems doing this until i load another mixer into the project!!!!
I usually "submix" drums on a smaller mixer like the "micromixer" etc.
As soon as i load another mixer into my project then the option to name channel strips in the Bluemixer is gone!!!
Then i delete the extra aded "submixer" and there is suddenly no problem ?!?!
Im still using SFP3. And this has NEVER hapened before.
Now why haven't i upgraded my system to SFP4?
Well as a said above work work work and lots of fun. I really don't have time installing a new system right now. I was planning on doing this when building a new DAW this X-mas.
I just want to know if anyone have had this kind of problem bvefore. It's really annoying. I have alots of important work to do and i can't perform well with "ticks" like this.
If you're starting from the same default song every time, perhaps you should try removing the bluemixer from it and adding it again from the device list.
No - those things are not connected. The BigMixer (I guess this is the one we are talking about) disapeared with 3.00. And this stuff happens with all my devices - they don't like to respond to my pc-keyboard anymore. It happened to me after having tried our a great bunch of old pulsar freebies - some of wich where highly malfunctioning in the new environment. I can not say, if the to things are related, but it smells that way.
