Hi, when i want to start Scope by rightclicking the Scope icon in the taskbar i can't klick on "Show" and "exit SCOPE Platform" (with the mouse) anymore in the little popup window and nothing gets highlighted when i move the cursor over it. I only can use up/down on the keyboard to highlight "Show" and "Exit SCOPE Platform". And then, when i hit enter to "Show" the Scope menu i get this message in a little window:

"EXEPTION" (in the title bar)
"nil reference on left side of '.' as a result of expression "Project""

Then i only can close this window and that's it. Does anybody know what this means??
The program worked fine until yesterday, today i reinstalled Scope and i was able to start it after the installation for one time but now i got the same error everytime i try to start it.
The last things i did when everything was fine was loading some samples in STS5000 which i just converted in Translator which was running parallel to Scope and i remember i had to close Translator one time with the task manager cause it was hanging up. Don't know if this has something to do with the error cause it wasn't the first time i had to stop Translator(buggy tool...)
Anybody with similar problems?
Thanks,
Simon

try to renew the CWA Audio driver and /or the cset.ini (Bin folder) file from the install software
also Scope wants to be 'on top' of your file directory...

Hi hubrid,
what do you mean with "on Top"?
Thanks,

it's a Windows error message - obviously something in the default project got heavily messed.
Try to rename the respective project (or the folder in case you don't know which is the default one).
Scope should at least start then, possibly complaining about a missing file, and you can setup a new project or choose one that is known to work.

good luck, Tom

it means you should install the Scope folder on the highest level on your harddisk (partition).
Even if you would prefer to install it 'deeper', say in a folder where you have installed all your programs, don't

Yes!!!!
I was able to start the program by moving the *.pro files out of AppSFPApp...
There had been four of them. Can you tell me what the SFP.pro and StartUpLogo.pro do? Are they important?
And by the way, when i load the 2448 the input channels(routing window) all seem to be "mono", there was a function to have the L/R's showing, can you tell me how to do this?
A BIG THANK YOU for helping!!

On the channel strips there are buttons to flick the channels to stereo mode.

If the Start project hangs, it usually wants to display a message that some file cannot be found. Try opening New Project by starting SFP from Start menu, then load Statup Project and correct it when the pop-up comes.
