I use a JX305 with the standard Pulsar II midi in/out ports, and (very) often when playing on the keyboard (sampler or synths) a note gets stuck. It'll stay stuck until I press the key again or change midi channel. Anyone one else with this problem or possibly a solution? =)
The keyboard itself is fine, I've tested that one...

Thanks,
Stefan

Yep thats a known problem of the midi ports
I bought a unitor made by emagic.

Because u are a trance producer , u use alot of 16 counts and 32 64 enzz

That askes allot of the midiports so u better can buy a rock solid unitor and your worries will be gone !

It worked for me ......

Thats a strange one indeed!
I used a Roland JX305 keyboard as master keyboard for my Pulsar 2 and it never gave me no problems. I assume you are going straight out of the JX305 and into the Pulsar, should work no problem. Do you have any other MIDI Devices if so try going to the pulsar Midi In from a MIDI Thru Port on another device. My Pulsar 2 gave me grief with the Steinberg Midex 8 Interface so if you are after a midi interface keep that in mind.

maybe you use some roland master keybord which send midi clock to your pulsar?!
roland a33 sending midi clock like default.
you must set parameter to "external clock"!!

Oh, thank you all for your answers so far! I don't have any other external synths yet, but I am just about to purchase two (CS6R and Access Virus B) so I will need more midi ports anyway. The emagic one is slightly out of my budget I think (£399?) - I'm looking at a Midiman Midisport 4x4 USB interface for £120 - anyone with experience on that unit?

Also, thanks for the tip with the clock sync, will give that a go as well in the meantime!
