Back to your song: I find it really quite nice Paul, it's cool enough:-)
i would just select one or a few short parts out of your soloing part, and apply some tricks on it with effects and/or wicked electronic tricks .
You'll be surprised how exiting it can be to hear such a part, the zooming or magnifying-glass effect can work very stoned and fascinating (remember my muted-trumpet song? same trick).
If you f.e. would find a 'new' count-one of such a selected part, revealing a new unintended rhythm, this can give you the magic lead thing this and every track needs.
This way you stay with your own personnal approach still without loosing feeling for style, if you know what I mean.
Your soloing part is just part of your sample sources, remember you can't play at all
