I heard the high end Focusrites are great but not so the low end. I wonder if this means Focusrite will continue to cheapen their product line. I have a novation 25 controller. I bought it because it has lots of knobs and sliders and isn't overly expensive. The keyboard action isn't so good but you get what you pay for. I guess it will be good for Novation if they can start including Focusrite technology in their i/o products.

believe it or not most of the keyboard patents are held by Fatar so most synth manufacturers have to licsence or buy oem from them.

Have to say i'm tempted by their Liquid Channel - OK it's expensive, but some of those modelled channels are about the price of that box alone, so i think it's justified (if it's any good).
