Hello to everyone...
I 'm writing this so to understand the logic beneath the anti-pirate software threads...
We see that people overeact against the ones who use or crack software and focalize on the ethics of the situation. What I think is that talking about ethics in this kind of questions doesn' t make sense, taking into consideration current financial policies... People working for companies are just doing their job - and their job is to fight illegal software...
My opinion is that the use of illegal software has helped software consumers public to grow. Thousands of low-budjet consumers have managed to get involved in computer audio music production and it's obvious that a whole new business is born (low cost - quality products) made for these ones. The great contradiction for me - to show you what I mean, is that there is a lot of companies worldwide actually using pirate software and making great money out of it!!! No one focuses on this fact - we all just hate the one who uses this kind of software for educational or creative purposes. But there is no forum about the consumer's deception... I'm sure that everyone in the computer industry has used -at least once- a crack. What I know for sure is that it's a matter of legality -not ethics. If u want to be "moral", just think: what world are u living in?(money rules - imperialism - economic inequality - war - psychological control...) Just tell me Is it a matter of money to enjoy quality products???
Ha ha ha I didn't know that I live in paradise, thanx for telling me -do something usefull with your lives and music productions except from making money and become famous- try to change the world...
Thanx in advance,

Subject: quite agree

a very important point you speak of is that all software companies would never have become so fat without a huge amount of users using their software - and, well, i don´t know any one who uses a legal copy of windoze...

furthermore, as a pupil i won´t pay so much money for a sequencer i haven´t worked with yet (and, no, i can´t really 'work' with the demos...). so first i´m looking for a crack. and when i start making money with that program, i will surely pay. that´s my jurisdiction.

and about the cracked pulsar devices i just say: use them, if you have to... if you don´t have to (however), lucky you.

Subject: Legal talk

Hi,
I completly agree with your view of pirated software use.

I've been deceived so many times by software i've buyed that, now, i try the crack FIRST, and if it do what i want, i buy after, to have support, updates etc...

I fact, if i don't find a crack, it's maybe because nobody use that software, if nobody use that software, it must not be THAT good. So , no crackz, NO BUY !

Compagny that don't agree should think about this. There is so much CRAPSOFTWARE !

This is the way I choose my software now... Sorry for those who don't agree, but my money is better invested that way. And i won't be deceived by what I buy.
