Hi guys,
2 questions:
1) I have an old project which contains the big mixer and I want to drag the new mixer to take its place. When I've done that the cabling comes out all wrong with some aux effects not connected at all.Is it possible.

2) Also is it possible to consolidat a project(save modules aswell)so I don't have to browse for devices/modules if I update or re-install scope.

Thanks

Hoi Manic,

For 1), screenshots and effects presets are your salvation. The mixer cannot simply be replaced since it has different connections and parameters, there's no way to do this automatic.

Concerning 2), to locate the devices there's an (auto-)search function, or else install the new devices in the same path as under the original OS. Better news for the modules : they never have to be relocated, they're stored inside the patch.

my 2 cents,

Or for 1, an ancient but fail-safe method:
Pen & paper !
2: Depending on which version you're upgrading to, you may have to trick Scope into using new versions of certain plugins when opening old projects....say if you're going from v2 to v3 or 4 - some of the old ones won't work, so rename the original SFP directory (temporarily) - Scope will then not find the old ones & ask you to manually direct it to the right location,
