My real name is Richard ( no, really ). For some reason people like saying 'eh, Ricardo'. And that's it.......Pretty ordinary really.

My Name is Philipp. When I was a kid, I was often called "Philippo". Then somehow the variation "Calippo" (a sort of ice-cream) established.

Stubbe is my middle name, all my friends call me that since it stands out a bit more than Thomas. It's also used in most logon's I use.

That's it, basically

OK I'm the newbie in this group, but what the heck. I nearly cried reading some of your posts. Can't believe I never discovered the "Off Topic" forum before now.

Along the same lines as Valis and Mr Arkadin, "Blazes Boylan" is a fictional character. He's my favourite villain. Mind you, after spending over a year (avec helper guide) reading that particular Irish novel, I didn't really have much choice but to love all the characters. If you spend long enough with a book I think you become common law married to it.

Incidentally my real name is Johann Sebastian Tienhaara. I inherited all of the love for music, but none of the talent, of my namesake. I just wish North Americans would stop calling him "Joanne"!!!

Thanks for starting this Jngael-bell-rock-in' thread, this is fun. Plz keep it going!

Ciao,

Johann

yeh, and cheap kind of it is Palto Licho
btw my nick is as unimaginative as it can be, it is petit form of my first name that happends not to have any diacritics in it.
just because you cannot imagine something that doesn't exclude it from reality.
