Actually, it's a live performance using I think 5 modular patches. You can tell I'm having a very hard time trying to control all of them at the same time. There are moments in the song where I'm obviously going berserks. (hehe) Basically, I end up fiddling with the bigmixer.

The song is strictly Pulsar only. Just the 5 patches connected to the bigmixer. No external effects.

All comments are welcome! I want feedback since it's my first try!! :>
Also, the song is long. Feel free to fast forward to around 5:00 which is where the song reaches is full state.

buuuuooy, that´s speakertrashing. Smart Breakcore, but I´d eliminate the HF in the noisemodulation in the beginning of this track, when played at high volume it´s realy threatening the ears. A beat change in the middle of the track would have been nice, but anyway I love those sounds in there...

I have listened to this several times - the piece is quite interesting; I quite like it. It is not ordinary sounding, but yet is not too pretentious as to be annoying or unlistenable. good work.

nice effort. what, nice? it's so different from the other tracks i heard from you this afternoon (i didn't rate them, 'coz they're not my cup of tea, wasn't able to listen to the vocodersong :???: )
great stuff, and all done with modular?
i've been whining for a few days now concerning drum sounds, so how do you use the modular as a drum sound bank?
would be happy to find out.

Yeah.. I have lots of faces. This one, I was particularly in a non melodic mood. The modular drums in this one are... well, so-so.. The hats suck. (right algo? hehe.) The bass drums kill. It's a little decimator trick where the bass drum starts screaming. (ya feed a little noise to the decimators, but I believe I had a limiter before the decimator)
It's a v2 project but I can send it to you if you want it, borg.
Maybe you can whack it up real good and come up with a better tune.
Actually, this sounds exciting... a "modular remix"??

would be nice indeed:smile:
only problem is, that i do not have the propack yet (remember the monitor thread? moneymoneymoney:sad: but it's on my list, what's another 150$?)
maybe it's on the v3 or 3.1
dunno, can't check it out coz my systems down at the moment (will have to wait for another few days for cubase to arrive in the store:mad:)
had any other complaints about downloading the vocodersong? i'm just starting to learn all these little apps for decoding, downloading and whatever there's around.
one of these days...

Oh... for the vocodersong, I had a space in the filename so you'll need to use IE I think.

Make sure you join Algo's contest, he's going to give a way a Mod2 to the winner.
