Hi,
Is there any way to control the output volume in xtc mode? To paint a clearer picture, the situation is like this:
Normally I run SFP in standard mode where I got asio, midi, a mixer and the control room in my project. Through the control room I can switch between monitor set 1 (pulsar 1 to hifi set) and monitor set 2 (Pulsar 2 to monitor speakers). Also this way I can control te output level going to the monitor sets individually (since having my sequencers master output on 00db is driving the speakers far too loud) so I lower the volume outputted to the monitors by 6 - 9 db in control room.
Is something like the above situation possible in xtc mode? The only way I can get volumes (on only one monitor set a once, have to edit the xtc project file to switch) which are usable for playing back without getting ear damage / mad neighbours is by lowering the output volume in the sequencer, which is something I don't really want, since in my experience it will make my mixes sound way off compared to what I tried to do. When I lower the monitoring level in the control room device (pulsar standard mode) the outputted signal is much more comparable to the real world.
Any help appreciated!!
Best Regards,
MG

Monitoring level
I guess just putting the control room device in XTCproject.pro should help. Try that out. This is another way I guess: there should be some free low resource device available for setting volume. You could then use separate outputs for one and for another setting and then just assign main mix output to the one you want.
I hope this helps!
