I have a problem with my Creamware A16 ultra that I just bought, I think it's because there's no red light on the optical output contact on the backside...

does anyone know if these are supposed to show no red light, the soundcard outputs are redlight.

I checked the syncsettings in RME DIGI settings panel and I dont get LOCK on either ADAT1,2,3, I have connected all 4 cables and tried to connect 2 cables too but with no luck, I added all 16 channels in cubase for out/inputs in the mixer settings, output to monitors and inputs for all the analog synthesizers but I get no reaction in the soundmeters on A16, so I'm at a loss, what to do?(

i'd contact your supplier.since it is brand new a replacement doesn't sound out of the question. cw warranty seems to be good about those kinds of things(DOA)....

That's just it, I bought it from a person with no warranty  and it's like 2 years old, maybe cw has a long warranty on these kind of things, so I can contact them anyway.
