Hiya Maket.

This song sounds to me like a ukrainian folk version of the old song "Brothers in arms" by Dire Straits, hehe. Of course I cant be sure of that, since I dont understand a word of whats being said, but that was the first impression I got anyway

Regarding the mix, I would want to do a couple of more things with it. The main vocals could use a little more reverb I think. There is a moody but evocative atmosphere to the music that I feel would sound even better with some more reverb. This also goes for the instruments, especially the acoustic guitar and the accordion. Maybe some chorus on the guitar also to spice it up.

Secondly, there are some sounds in the track that shouldnt be there. In the intro for example, you can here one of the musicians (or is it you? ) pick up the accordion and generally causing a ruckus. Such sounds need to be gated out of the mix if possible.

Thirdly, when the song gets going and many instruments interact together it gets a bit chaotic in there. I get the feeling that you need to apply a bit more compression to all of them to smooth out the mix. Maybe cut some base out of the accordion to make some more room as well. (or maybe not, Im listening through a pair of crappy multimedia speakers right now)

Anyway, it was fun to hear some different kinds of music being made by scopelings in other parts of the world.

Keep up the good work!
An eye for an eye, and soon the whole world is blind.

it does have a very "live" feel to it, like it's been recorded on a live PA system with minimal "beefing" tweaks.. I think this feel is working in a good direction for the tune.

I do get the impression that everything seems to be miced extremely close, particularly the voice. (I'm hearing lots of wind rumble)

Also, the bongos, or some sort of percussion seems to need some sort of resonating chamber (ER or light reverb) for it to gain a more distinctive sound. I'm guessing it's a hand drum of some sort, and it's very hard to mic these things right. I always have problems recording my bongos or congas. You need just the right amount of surface (the membrane) mic, body mic (catching sound exiting the body), and also a room mic (or a reverb instead). Again, the reverb is vital to getting these things to sound right. Some people pace a hard piece of material, like a sheet of wood, below the instrument to make the sound bounce and disperse better.

The accordion certainly adds great authenticity to the track. I'm surprised you found one, or found a player. They're really hard to come by in Japan, and they're really expensive. Again, you might want to back off the mic a bit as there are key clicks and other strange noise. Sure adds to the realism, but I'm not sure if those sounds are helping the tune any.

Great melody tho. I really like it as a vocal song. Not sure what the words are saying, but it sounds quite emotional, like the title says. I guess the tune is more about being spontaneous and being true to your emotions. Production is probably not the main point.

I love the raw, up close and personal feel. Is that A Di'd acoustic? The guitar seems dettached from the rest. Maybe stick a mic on it instead to bring it up with the rest? I also think the tremolo could have been used a bit more sparingly like maybe only used for the intro and outro as it seems to fight with everything else in the main part of the song imo.

I like it.
