Hi folks.

I know this has been discussed before but I'm unsure of what conclusion I should draw from previous threads.

I want to assign MIDI cc #s to VRC-S play, fast forward, and so on buttons.

When I send MIDI cc signals to the VRC-S, the little "MIDI" red light at the top of the device indicates signals coming in. But none of the buttons receive a MIDI signal.

The MIDI channel entry box (beside the little red light at the top of the VRC-S) is set to "Off" and I can't edit it. I'd like to set it to "1" or "Omni" or something.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is the MIDI input on VRC-S a sort of placebo? (Posts by marcuspocus indicate the latter...)

Thanks all! Cheers and kind regards,

Ah, the problem is that I'm an idiot! The VRC-S responds to MIDI cc signals now.

Thanks Alfonso, much appreciated.

Cheers,
