Hallo.
My problem: stuck notes using SFP synthsizers (when polyphonic). The notes hang with MINIMAX, ProONE, PRODYSSEY, LIGHTWAVE, VECTRON...
I use Korg Triton to drive the SFP synthsizers.
I checked MIDI cables and connections.
The system: - Asus P4PE (intel 845 chipset) + Pentium 4 (not HT)
- PULSAR II + LUNA II (no IRQ shared with other devices)
- Windows XP professional SP1
- graphic card Matrox G 450
- 2 HD
Solutions?
Sorry for my english.
Thanks.

Do you use the Pulsar midi port? Or you use any other mdid interface? If the second then try to reinstall its drivers. If the first observe what things go from the port, I mean connect the midi monitor and see if the notes are stuck from the keyboard or not. There should be a flow of data constantly attacking the port - active sensing - uncheck the "show active sensing" square to see more clear.

hey, I use Triton also, and connect through Pulsar's build in MIDI port. The trick is, if you don't use Triton's internal sequencer (who does, anyway) is to use external clock, or "PC whatever" option in the global->MIDI setup page. (anything but "internal") That made a big difference for me. Also, using SFP's MIDI filter, filter out any sysex messages or any unwanted MIDI data. My setup runs very smoothly after I've made the adjustments.
The problem seems to be, that Triton keeps sending clock signal to Pulsar, and this seems to cause a MIDI overflow of some sort. Not sure of the details tho.
