I don't read them this way. I think they need some support form us. A hold?

OK, maybe I'm reacting to all the "strangers in town" But some could at least put a shirt on before coming to the party

Well it's not a complaint but I just tried to get my new S/W key and I got a message saying 'error sending key, please contact support'. With all these people emailing CWA I might not get a response in the near future.
And I only want one plugin at 50%,even though I've got 3 boards. And that's cos I can.

Waiting in good faith.
P.S. Shayne, you forgot to ask for a new computer as well

As for all of you people out there that think I'm some noob or somebody that doesn't have a clue, I assure that I've been coming here for quite some time, yes as a lurker.

The original post was made out of frustration, then I contacted CW and they helped me with this issue.

But say whatever you want. Arguing over the internet is as significant as a fart in a windstorm.

Don't worry, this will probably be my last post here. You people are obviously much further advanced in the food chain than I.

First part: Funny statement , and I agree (and i guess most would).

Second part: Childish,

Since that you dont want to post here is as significant as a fart in a windstorm.

I'm sorry for taking amount of posts as a reference for experience. If you've been reading this forum for a while, you sure noticed the same as I did: There's a lot of new members posting hot topics and kvr style discussions follow. I have no idea how many OS updates from CW they experienced, but the update policy hasn't changed since Creamware released their first pulsar1.

So then someone with 7 Luna's gets 5 more reductions than me, for the same DSP or investment? Good for them, I don't envy any one.

Yea Huub, I think it's rather funny to see all new members in these topics.

Any one noticed that almost no one who's been with CW for some years is complaining? We're just getting the service we've been getting for ages, which is excellent IMO, and exactly what I (or almost anyone who's been using SFP for a while) expected after they made it past chapt.11.

Well here is one. I usually support CWA in many situations. And I know, that there was nothing on the site, that promissed me a ½price plug-in per card. But I definitely am disapointed. I payed for each card. I can see the reason, why I do not get the SS/MM packs for free, but a payed card is a payed card. And I am kind of pissed, that the service is not per card.

But f*** that. I wanted Vinco and VDAT. Now I will just not buy Vinco - and wait till some day I buy a second hand card with the thing - or I will just buy the plug-in second hand. There ought to be quite some extra second hand Vincos floating around at below ½ price pretty soon. With me CW sold one plug-in less. And since VDAT is to be upgraded, I am going to wait and see. I don't want to buy today and see tomorrow, that ½price VDAT1 + upgrade is more expensive than (½price?) VDAT2

Well DXL, we're all really impressed down here I can tell you. Stalking our forum in the shadows is certainly a credibility currency we can all appreciate.

Oh com on Sam!
That is just a bit over the top to call 7XL DXL.
I have a very hard time seing DXL writing even ½ as good English as 7XL + 7XL's posts are not loaded with capitals or @s or other *hit.

Lol Sam.

Hey Immanual, I wouldn't mind if CW deceided that someone with 7 Luna's gets 7 credits and I only get 2, for the same amount of DSP's and investment... I would mind if they withdrew some of my plugins tho

What annoys me the most,

Is that people like 7XL who come out of the wood work and then *bash* CWA because they are jumping to conclusions on issues they do not yet know the answer to and complain and so forth, but then when CWA says " Sure we will honor your cards and extend the discount to you for each card ", the guy doesnt come to the boards to retract his negative statements or to apologize for anything, the only way we would have even known about the solution to his issue in question was him defending himself about his previous statements.

Then after people give him a little attitude (which would be expected from a new poster who comes out of the gates bashing) he then says nothing matters since this is the internet (not as if the people behind the screen do not exist) and he wont post here again, our loss I guess

What a funny world we live in...

Cheers!

The whole sfp4 thing, it's setting up a rush of frustrated posts.. I hope it doesn't ruin the peaceful Z atmosphere. (it's good to discuss, but don't start to insult CWA or each other) It's becoming continuously harder to keep noise down.

OK BasicPitch,

Did you read what I typed? Even before the fine people here started spouting off, I said that CW said that they would make it right. I came back and stated that after contacting them on the issue. But I take it that's not good enough for you.

I don't recall saying that nothing matters, you said that, I said that I refuse to argue over he internet, nothing more.

And just to make matters a litle more clear for you all, I'm a Creamware dealer. I've been using thier products for over 5 years. I know about thier pricing policies and everything else (dealers really don't get that great of a deal compared to cost as of last year).

But I'll allow you all to go on your merry way and make all the assumptions that you want, because in the end, I know how it will all play out.

7XL,

Im not trying to flame you in the slightest, what I am getting at is you should have researched before going directly in to defensive mode and saying things like " I knew it sounded too good to be true.", ofcourse a stement like that comes accross that you were intentionally lied to or some other form truth bending.

Right off the bat that sets you in a negative light, of course every one is entitled to they're own opinions and I appreciate yours just as much as every one elses, but starting a thread that is and you cant say its not a *bashing* thread doesnt help any one or anything.

Shortly after the thread was started CWA rectified your situation, so if you had just held off long enough till you heard CWs response to your issue this would have never even took place.

That is all I am trying to say.

Cheers!

I just reread the thread again, I still think holding off till you heard from CWA would have been the better path to persue, also lets not let the Z degrade to common bickering and tossing around insults.

We are all here for a common purpose both old and new, so lets get back to making music and cool down.

Cheers!

I am willing to retract my accusation if there is merit, but as such, I see no difference in behaviour. DXL's past posting habits were very different content-wise, be it with caps, @$# or whatever. But the attitude is the same, the declarations of "this will probably be my last post," lurking about, and other characteristics seem to fit.

If 7XL is not a thinly veiled hint at the users identity, then it is an unfortunate coincidence. I do not feel my response was inhuman, nor even inappropriate.

Perhaps I am wrong about my placement of identity (which remains to be seen), but that doesn't change the fact that the amazing rash of complaining posts have all come from people with 15 or under posts.

I would not be shocked to find out that there are people out there who do not want the SFP platform to do well.

Regardless of what that all means (I tend to give credence to plausible conspricy theories so feel free to disagree), the Z has long been a place of calm demeanor and thoughtful discourse. People who can't abide that should be politely encouraged to be more constructive in appropriately increasing levels of firmness, if they begin flaming, held to scorn and ridicule, and if none work, banned.

DXL has been banned twice (to my knowledge) and I think it would be silly to think that we won't hear from him again. He seems to enjoy the attention. As such, I will not post in this thread again.

7XL, if I have you pegged all wrong, I hope you will understand my stance. You can do a quick search by author for DXL to see the long, sad, sordid history of DXL's 'contribution' to our community and understand that the similarity in your name may provoke ill will. I think most hackers will recognize that 7 is oft used like a D just like ! is used as i and @ as an a or e in l@@t $p@@K and $#<h.

The long and short: people may take your statements the wrong way regardless of what your intentions may be. An unfortunate name which lends to a parallel of a most impolite exile or complaints which no one on this forum can help you with will not help your point of view be weighed fairly.

I just checked the shop again. It was no longer in ½ price mode. Is this option time limmited?
