Asus P4C800 Deluxe with Scope. I have a scope card in my computer with a P4C800 Deluxe motherboard. I only have 2 Pci cards. The Scope and an Adaptec Firewire card for my Tc powercore. When I ran the computer in Standard Pc mode I couldnt get the Powercore to Work probarly so now Im back to Acpi mode. Does anybody have rekomendations regarding placement of the Scope card on my computer so I can get an IRQ for the Scope alone?

Hi
Have you disabled 'everything' you are not using in the BIOS such as serial ports, parallel ports, on board audio........
I have my PulsarII in 1, Luna in 5 and my UAD-1 in 3.

How can you only have two cards? Scope, Powercore and Firewire? (Well, don't know the Powercore).

But as AdreD sugest... try moving around your cards.

Yeah, I have a SCOPE in #1 and a PULSARII in #5. Got this idea from someone else on the board since they said letting the cards share an IRQ seems reasonable. Seems to work well in my case. My motherboard is the same as yours.

Quite funny because I talked to CW Support today and they said they tested exactly this MoBo and had very bad results with it...
They told me that this is the only board they know which is not ok for scope!!!!!
I don't know if this is right but they said it. Sorry for you.
