I've just posted several new pieces to my Web site. There isn't much information about them on the site, so I'll give a few descriptions here:

1. Fire Blade

This piece uses mostly Reason, FM7, and Yamaha CS6x; however, I did use the STS-5000 to house a Mellotron flute sample set (!), and I used one Modular. The piece starts out ambient and dreamy, and about two minutes in it suddenly gives way to punchy Celtic-style electronic rock. It's fun to dance to!

2. Cirrus in Blue

This is inspired by Tangerine Dream-style EM, and it uses only DXi synths -- FM7, DreamStation, Triangle, and one Pro-52 (I do NOT use the Pro-52 anymore!!). However, it was mixed with Scope and uses some Scope effects. It is very bright-sounding.

3. Gem Stars

This uses only Scope synths except for one harpy FM7. I made extensive use of MIDI-controlled filter automation here. I used a couple of Orion Customs, the STS-3000, and a couple of UKnows used for percussive effects. It has a very dark mix, sounding almost psychedelic.

4. Mane in the Wind

Another Tangerine Dream-inspired piece with a very strong chord-based theme. I used only Reason in this piece, no Scope anything.

5. The Way to the Emeralds

I used mostly the CS6x on this piece, however I did use the STS for a couple of things and I also used Solaris!! Mixing was done on Scope.

I feel that these pieces sound a lot more mature and professional than my previous work; please let me know what you think! I have more pieces in the works, and I'll try to finish up some pieces that use Scope. I'm sorry that most of these pieces don't use Scope extensively.

Cheers!
