go to device manager, there's a list there in which you should find your cw soundcard. it might not call it by name, maybe it says "unknown device" with an exclamation mark next to it.

double click it, update driver. now point the update wizard (which you chose to run manually) to your SFP3.1c folder.
depending on which os you're on choose "win 98" for 98, ME and "win2000" for 2000, XP.

now windows will install the driver.
now it's time to install your audio app.(logic, cubase etc)

finally install 3.1a and then 3.1c. leave the upper field blank when the installation asks you where to put your xtc-effects.

much reading but a quick job really...

GOOD LUCK!

Har du prøvet bare at køre en installation? Så skulle den gerne selv finde en driver. Du behøver ikke manuelt at installere den først. Driveren er ikke certificeret. Det skal du bare ignorere.

Problem again!
When having installed everything the asio scope driver in "Devices setup" in Cubase SX could not be found although it was installed. So I uninstalled everything.
Now the asiodriver from 3.1c won´t install - I´ve tried everything...
Anyone recognize this problem?

I have cleaned registry after uninstall with "RegSupreme" to get everything nice and clean from start - maybe that could´ve caused problems...

Scope Fusion Platform is the software included with your card. the software has to be running and edited properly in order to function.

there are a few examples here at planetz
as well as at http://www.cwaudio.de under ->"scope platform" ->"examples".

i think the manual has some examples too.

Yes a lot of regcleaners will remove the ASIO drivers from the registry (including MS's 'regclean.exe' although it won't prevent you from loading the modules in SFP, your sequencer won't know it exists.

Does this mean that I will have to format the disk or what in order to reestablish?

Make sure you backup any presets you want to hang onto first.

In the filebrowser in SFP: when I open the [Win2k] folder in [Driver] it appears to be empty - is that right?

Check if 3.1c is an upgrade.....the version I have is, which means you have to install it over the top of 3.1a or b.....the driver is usually installed at the start of the 3.1(a or b) install automatically....the install prog works out if it's in your computer or not....if not a little 'install driver' box pops up, & after it's in you have to reboot, & the SFP software install will automatically continue.
Also you could check SFP is not set to external sync (Slave) in 'samplerate' (unless you are clocking to an external digital source of course, in which case check SFP is picking it up).....although it's unlikely to default to this after a fresh install

Before you start Cubase, ensure you have an ASIO dest module loaded in your SFP environment. This is how you get sound into cubase via ASIO and it's what Cubase is complaining about. It doesn't have to be connected to anything just get it in there. Get yourself the SFP manuals and start reading.

Look in sfpappxtc (dont remember exactly)folder. There is file IOenabler.exe. Run, and check "enable ASIO". Reboot.
