15th of april. Acording to the homepage

>quote:

The new SCOPE 4.0 software will be available before Easter << log entry 10.04. Unfortunately we will not make it to finalize the 4.0 registration mechanism before Easter - we're on it - please come back around the 15th, happy holidays >> for all existing CreamWare users on CreamWare’s web site free of charge.

So i guess that means "for sure not before 15th of april".

Anyway they will probably do everything they can, to make it as promised this time.

As a speculation maybe they even dared to go home for easter.
who knows...

I stopped breathing when I heard of sfp4.
So, making music is becoming harder day by day

But it does gives me some time to hold my breath. (And downloading freebies)

I just care about a new Scope driver. Does anybody know if version 4.0 brings us a new driver? The v3.x driver is anoying me - specifically when i want to play a media file through Windows media player. I only get stuttering sound when i click pause. That's just 1 example...

Happy Easter,
Miguel

No, the stuttering thing when you press stop or pause happens in all WDM/MME programs. It goes away if you reduce the ULLI to 3ms. Of course that isn't practical if you want to run an ASIO program...I hope there are some drivers updates across the board!!

And yes, WMP *is* a POS. Winamp RULES!!!!

We can all start making music and rise again when the SFP 4 comes out just like Jesus did. I'm actually considering wiping my drive and starting fresh since I'm having some problems.

About the wav/mme driver issues, please start logging complaints to CW techsupport!

When I first bought my Pulsar1 I was unable to run it on ANY of my decent systems (they were all dual cpu) and had to run it in a separate system to keep it stable. This wasn't too bad but I had no adat/etc option at the time. You can see how displeased I was here:

http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... 26&forum=5

Well, in v3.1 they did indeed fix the dual dual cpu issues and its now been 2 years that I've been using it in my main DAW as productive as I have time & energy to be.

Point is, there's always been bugs and always been grumbling & griping. But with persistance on everyone's part perhaps we can take SFP (which is pretty good) and make it even better!

I'll start complaining vigorously *if* nothing's been fixed in 4.0.

A question,

SFP 4.0, will it be free for all existing SFP 3.x users? It will work with the Pulsar 2 card? The new names, are they just new namnes for the existing cards? Scope project = Pulsar 2?

thanks everyone,

Keyhan
