First post on forum.

Made with reason(beats),cubase(audio),Scope(Mixdown n synths)

Update of track, more of the arrangement and a bit of tweaking on production still needs work(a lot)it is a ruffmix. i still need to do a propper recording of my mate mc vocal (they dry at moment)before going to town on production.also i don't think i got the best monitors (can't monitor sub/bass area very well)
i've worked on track for about 4 hours.

any pointers would be much apreciated.
Should stuff like perc, be panned wider? etc.

Hi there

I guess madcat took the red pill there, huh?

NICE track !

Well, I feel that i wish for a dry reference, soft dry up-front "reference" on the low mid to low freq level, to create a balance to the energetic vocals.
Just to make one of the instruments in this area more dry and maybe more compressed and upfront.

BUT im listening to this on some small crappy speakers, so maybe it sounds very different on better ones.

i just tested it and it dnld fine here.
Maybe try right clicking on file and select save target as.

Alphawave.. Cheers. i think i know what you mean, don't fully understand.
Less chorus i think if i get what you mean, take it you are talking about stretching ripping bass sound? well its only that sound the arpegiated sound, pad and beats. so must be.

madcat. thnx. youre a top feed man

Keep rollin'

still just (binary?) text...
must have to do with file naming and the used characters.
Could it be the end of the name is dot wma ( .wma )?
anybody can shine some light on .wma ?

hubird you're a mac user aren't you

wma=windows media audio

As for the tune, your lead/bass+Vocal+plinky sounding synth (arp) are a touch in conflict. The arp & lead/bass are fine when by themselves. Selective eq on the vocal and more filtering on the lead's top end could tighten things up again. Good work so far

well yes...and I'm happy I have a problem with my comp also now, after all (deep happy sigh)
Not alone anymore
(couldn't resist

BTW -and more seriously- I have all regular and less regular players installed, WMP/mac is working fine normally.
Why is it just this file that refuses to open?
If I'd be able to browes from within WMP (WMA, does this maybe matter) directly to the file I'm sure it would work.
I'll check my IE plugin folder, if it's there WMA should open I guess.
Still: why alone this file...?

OT:
Tip of the day:
working on my mac:
MSM, Windows Office 2001, ACDSee,
LiquidPlayer, Maczilla, RealPlayer,
Shockmachine, Windows Media Player,
Internet Explorer, Outlook, BBEdit,
Fetch, internet banking, and yes CWA , all working flawless on my mac hehe...
Moral: if you wanne use regular Windows software, get yourself a mac, no problems

this sounds pretty cool. The MC-ing is spot on and the basses suitable deep (which synth did you use?).
