Hello,
I have Pulsar I and now I installed Luna II to it. But when Luna II is in one computer with my old Pulsar I, I can´t start Pulsar software (everytime Luna SW starts) and when I try to start Pulsar project, system can´t find Pulsar card (but in Luna SW I have 7 DSP´s and Pulsar I/Os). So what can I do ?

Thanks for any help
Peter

I had learn (at my cost) tha U can't use the software or devices for 2 or more cards.
If U decide to use Luna II software, U lose other card features and vice versa.

This half true.

If the two card are in the same PC, you get both devices in any one software.

Get the luna's scope.rgy file and copy&paste the lines into Pulsar's scope.rgy files and vice-versa.

You can now get the Pulsar's devices into Luna's projects. Other way around is also true. If card are not in the same computer, forget that.

So OK, but I´d like to use my old Pulsar SW instead of Luna, but it doesn´t work.

I want from Lunu DSP´s and I/Os only.

I have this same setup in my box, and it works fine! Do you have the cards connected via STDM ribbon cable inside?

This should be no problem at all.
Just copy the valuable devices from your luna install (C:/Luna/Devices/....) to a safe location on your harddrive.
Then remove all the software drivers and cards from your computer.after that reboot your computer and check that everything is gone.
Then reinnstall just the pulsar card to your system,if everything works ok then and only then insert the luna card (no software just the elupo.inf driver on the pulsar CD,so forget the luna)
After reboot you will find ann additional 3DSP's in the pulsar DSP meter.
If you move the safely installed luna devices
into your Pulsar devices directory then they
will be available inside Pulsar.
When the pulsar software is running ,drag the luna devices on the pulsar desktop.
When the registration screen appears you
select the luna card then you press paste
on the left and then you type the luna key
in the bottom. Then you press the save button. After this everything should work.
To be able to use the luna ins and outs you have to drag the right ins and outs on the pulsar desktop.
That's it Good Luck and have Fun!!!!!
