Sorry for cross-posting, but I have an XTC question.
If I use the 01X as my audio/midi I/O and put my pulsar II card in XTC mode, can I access the Pulsar synths and effects from within SX2 while still using the 01X asio drivers?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am in the process of getting a digital mixer and I want to know if the 01X is an alternative.

No, for this you need a card with no IOs...
But why would you want to use O1X asio? Scope is supérior, less latency, more stable ?
At least, O1X could be use to control a sequencer, not even a front end for your pulsar anyway, because there is no way to O1X to talk to pulsar, no adat!?
For me, the O1X is almost useless, it's just a glorified midi controler which happen to provide a crappy asio driver.
BTW, yes i tried it...
Have a look at fw-1884, now your talking... Integration with SFP to it's full extent is a breeze.
