Hi all.
Does anybody know how can i redirect the audio out of a program like Windows Media Player to a specific Wave Source module?
The question is that I want to have Windows Media Player and other program, let´s say Realplayer, running at the same time and applying different effects to each one throught a Mixer in the Routing Window of course.
Ok, that´s all. I hope my english is good enough to make me understand.
Greetings and thanks.

as for windows media player, go into control panel, sound settings, and choose your primary audio device. Make sure you check "use only chosen device". (or something similar at the bottom) Windows Media Player will always use this device. Also remember you need to close and restart Windows Media Player for the changes to take effect.
The problem is, any other player that you use needs to have an audio setting within the player that allows you to choose what device you want to play back from. Winamp lets you choose your own device. I'm not sure if Realplayer lets you do that.
So, if you set up Windows Media Player to wave source #1 using the control panel, and setup winamp too wave source #2, you can hve 2 audio playing back through 2 different SFP channels.
By the way, whatever device you choose in the sound control panel will be the device that is used for system sounds, beeps, etc. (it becomes Window's "main" audio device)

Hmm... this doesn't seem to work for me. When I open the Sounds and Audio Device Properties, I can change the "deafult device" to "CreamWare Play/Rec 1", but then the volume and advanced buttons are greyed out and under the Volume tab it says there is "no audio device". If I then start Eindows Media Player it says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly."
Does anyone know why this is? Could it be because I also have an Audiowerk 2 card installed, although they don't appear to conflict?
thanks
